Thanks so much to Dennis Zimmerman, the manager of the Watchmen Quartet in California for the picture of the Watchmen and the Brashear Family Singers taken in 1988. The picture is now laminated & on our TV in our room at Stella Manor Nursing Home. Thank God for people like Dennis, that is a brother & a very close Friend.

Urgent Prayer for Janice

As you know, Janice was admitted to St. Mary’s. Jerrel now says she can no longer swallow so they are having to feed her through her IV. He said they need lots of prayers.

Janice in St. Mary’s Hospital

Janice was placed in St. Mary’s hospital in Russellville, AR which is their home town.

Janice went to the hospital to get her blood pressure regulated and Jerrel thought she was getting out today. However, she is have trouble swallowing and the Doctor is running tests to find out more about this problem. Please pray for them, especially Janice.

Janice has Parkinson’s and cancer of the lady parts and Jerrel has hardening of the arteries, which will not let the blood flow correctly to the brain. They are both at Stella Manor Nursing Home, room 108 East, 400 North Vancouver, Russellville, AR 72801.

As a song says “Prayer is the key to Heaven but faith unlocks the door”. Please take some time out of your schedule and ask the Lord to touch these two people. These two have given their lives to writing and singing songs that have blessed people all over America, Jamaica, Canada and the Northern parts of Old Mexico.

Update on Janice

One of the nurse’s assistants was giving Janice her medication and Janice looked at her and said, “But I don’t know what time it is”. That is the first time in almost 2 years she has spoken a whole sentence clearly.

Janet and Billy Miller are doing a fantastic job pulling the festival together. It is a huge job and they deserve many thanks. This year the festival will be in honor of a first class man, Randy Woodrome. God needed him at his Eternal Home, HEAVEN, where gospel music will be sung forever after. Please take some time out of your day or night and pray for the Woodrome family. They need us all to stand by them in their hour of need. I will never forget the times Randy and I shared talking, laughing, and envisioning what could happen. When my dad and mom were called Home, I had people stop by or call just to let us know my sis and I were in their prayers. My long time buddy, Herman Sparks, called me time and time again just to check on me and talk. Let me tell you, that was a great thing that helped me to get on with my life. God will bless those who care.

Please keep my wife, Janice and myself in your prayers. Janice is doing somewhat better and can speak a few words. That is truly a blessing.

Many of you pull up our website often and I thank you for that. This is a request is very hard for me to write but I feel I must. My wife Janice, Christian songwriter and mother of three needs your prayers RIGHT NOW. Please take this message to your friends, family, and churches. Janice, as so many of you know, has Parkinson’s Disease. During a routine exam the doctors found cancer in her uterus. I had noticed her spotting blood which is why she had to have an exam done. Stella Manor was on the ball and made her an appointment with Dr. Cloud in Russellville. He is a very good Christian man that knows his business. PLEASE, take this prayer request to the real healer, Jesus Christ. I do not want to watch this beautiful lady waste away. Please pray for me as I need strength to do my part whatever it may be. Please feel free to make copies of this request and pass it around in your communities. Check back for updates as to how Janice is doing.

Please pray right now for our grandson Ben Brashear. Lay hands on the Bible & the other on your screen & pray. I beg you please. Also, pray for Ben’s mom & dad, I can’t imagine what they must be going through. Thank you in advance. Take this to your church, lay it on the alter, ask the congregation to lay hands on the request & PLEASE PRAY.
